Israel Conducts Largest Airstrike Wave on Hezbollah in Lebanon Since Fighting Began
The Israeli Air Force carried out its largest coordinated strike against Hezbollah in Lebanon since the outbreak of hostilities, targeting roughly 100 sites across Beirut, the Beqaa Valley, and southern Lebanon in a span of ten minutes, the Israeli army said.

There's Only So Much Lebanon's Army Can Do Against Hezbollah
On March 2, Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel – though the decision for it to do so was almost certainly made by Iran – carrying Lebanon into a new war with Israeli forces. On the same day, Lebanon's government declared Hezbollah's military and security activities illegal. Shortly thereafter, army commander General Rodolphe Haykal made it clear to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam that the military did not have the means to implement the government's decision. Now, the Lebanese army finds itself in an uncomfortable position.

Rahi Arrives in Rome to Partake in Preparations for Continental Synodal Assembly of Middle East Churches
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, on Friday arrived with an accompanied delegation at Fiumicino Airport in the Italian capital of Rome, in preparation for the synodal assembly on the continental level.
The Continental Synodal Assembly of the Churches of the Middle East will be held from February 12 to 18, 2023, in Bethany Harissa, with the participation of clergy from Arab countries and seven Eastern Catholic Churches.
During his visit, the Maronite Patriarch will meet parishioners during a mass that he will officiate next Sunday at Saint Maron Church of the Maronite Institute.
