Public Sector Salaries and Pensions Available Starting Thursday, Finance Ministry Says
The Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday that it has completed the transfer of salaries and pensions for all public sector employees, including retired civil and military personnel, to the Central Bank.
In a statement, the ministry said that the payments also cover the salaries of all branches of the country’s security forces.
According to the ministry, beneficiaries will be able to withdraw their salaries and pensions from their respective banks starting Thursday afternoon.
