Sergio Ramos will not stay at Paris Saint-Germain beyond the end of this season.
The Spanish center-back will end his time in Ligue 1 after two seasons, as communicated by the Parisian side with an official message on Friday night.
"Paris Saint-Germain salutes Sergio Ramos, who is set to leave the capital after two seasons in the club's colors," the statement from the French team on the 37-year-old defender's future said.
"With the Red & Blue, the Spaniard added two Ligue 1 titles and a Trophee des Champions to his exceptional list of honours.
"After arriving in Paris on 8 July 2021, "SR4", a true professional, has brought experience, discipline and a competitive spirit, driven by a sense of sacrifice and a hunger to win everything.
"In 57 matches, the man regarded as one of the best defenders of all time scored 5 goals for Paris Saint-Germain - including his first on 23 January 2022 in the league against Stade de Reims.
"From 28 November 2021 to 1 January 2023, he remained unbeaten with the club, going 34 games without defeat. Another record."
The Real Madrid legend's contract expires on June 30, and his future is uncertain though he has shown no sign of retiring.
"Tomorrow will be a special day, tomorrow I will say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to PSG," he posted on social media.
"I don't know how many places you can feel at home but PSG, its fans and Paris have certainly been one of them for me."
PSG, this season's Ligue 1 champions, end their season on Saturday at the Parc des Princes at 21:00 against Clermont.
It will be a day of farewells, as Ramos will be joined by Lionel Messi in ending their time in Paris.
