Sergio Ramos' PSG Debut Will Have to Wait a Little Longer

Sergio Ramos is not yet ready to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut, as he will not feature in Saturday's Ligue 1 game against Clermont Foot at the Parc des Princes.

The 35-year-old will most likely miss the Champions League group-stage opener away at Club Brugge next Wednesday, too.

According to L'Equipe, Ramos will have to wait a little longer before playing in his first match for PSG, with the French newspaper reporting the Spaniard's status for the two aforementioned matches.

Ramos joined PSG from Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer and was originally tipped to make his debut after the international break, as the club revealed in mid-August.

"Sergio Ramos is gradually resuming training and is expected to return to action after the international break," PSG's statement read.

However, Ramos will continue with his rehabilitation in order to be at 100 percent, as PSG look to avoid any possible complications or relapses.
