President Joseph Aoun phone called former President Amine Gemayel on Friday to mark the anniversary of the assassination of former minister and MP Pierre Gemayel.

During the conversation, Aoun expressed his condolences and paid tribute to Pierre Gemayel’s lifelong dedication to Lebanon’s sovereignty and national interests.

He also hailed Gemayel’s famous motto from his time as industry minister: “If you love Lebanon, love its industry.”
