Kataeb Lawmaker Nadim Gemayel voiced his solidarity with Journalist Dima Sadek after a one-year prison sentence was filed against her by Free Patriotic Movement Leader Gebran Bassil.

“Judge Rosine Hajali preferred to settle political scores instead of holding the Aounists, who attacked a young man from Tripoli, accountable,” Gemayel wrote on twitter.

“Neither Syrian nor Hezbollah’s intimidation could silence free pens,” he added.

“The era of intimidation has ended,” he affirmed.
