Nada Koussa Crowned Miss Lebanon 2024

In a dazzling celebration of Lebanese beauty, Nada Koussa, a 26-year-old from Rahbe, Akkar, was crowned Miss Lebanon 2024 on Saturday night.

Miss Lebanon 2022 and Miss World first runner-up Yasmina Zaytoun passed the title and tiara to her successor who competed against 14 other contestants.

Sarah Leen Bou Jaoude secured the first runner-up position, while Gael Balian was named second runner-up. Melissa Kozah and Sibelle Bou Chaaya rounded out the top five, coming in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Koussa, who holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, captivated both the judges and the audience with her grace and articulate responses.

The judging panel was comprised of eight esteemed women from various fields, including actress Razane Jammal, model and fashion blogger Nour Arida, interior designer Diane Ghandour, former Miss Universe Georgina Rizk, Dr. Petra Khoury, socialite Paola Pharaon Rizk, TV presenter Raya Abirached, and restaurateur Mireille Hayek.

Despite the political uncertainty, the event, held at the Beirut Waterfront, was a testament to the resilience and vibrancy of Lebanese culture. The crowning of Nada Koussa not only highlights the beauty and talent of Lebanon's young women but also serves as a beacon of hope and unity in challenging times.
