Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi vowed to engage in a fight against corruption.

"We listened to citizens' complaints and they are right, but the situation is gradually improving," he said while inspecting the Vehicle Registration Center last week.

"We have reduced transactions and extended the validity of driver's licenses, and the ministry has a unit that is constantly studying all steps to help citizens," he added.
