Mawlawi After Meeting with Bukhari: No One Can Threaten Our Relationship with Saudi Arabia

Caretaker Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi pointed out that everyone was concerned about the kidnapped Saudi citizen and all the Security Services played a very big role in freeing him.

"The army carried out search operations in the North of Beqaa and the borders, and with the coordination of the security services we were able to free the kidnapped," Mawlawi said after meeting with Saudi Ambassador Waleed Bukhari.

Mawlawi also addressed all the Lebanese and Arab brothers, saying: "The security and military forces are cohesive and work in full coordination, and this is what I confirmed to the army commander when I called him yesterday", adding that " the independent Lebanese judiciary will look into the seriousness of the kidnapping crime."

For his part, Bukhari thanked all the Lebanese agencies for freeing the kidnapped in such a short time, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts that were made, and the Saudi citizen underwent medical examinations and is fine noting that the Saudi citizen underwent medical examinations and is fine.

He went on saying that We had the most difficult 48 hours before the release of the kidnapped Saudi, and communication was always ongoing with all the Saudi Security Services and authorities, as they pay great attention to every Saudi citizen inside and outside the Kingdom."
