Lebanon's Acting Central Bank Governor, Wissam Mansouri, dismissed recent reports, affirming that the status of the relationship between the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Lebanese Central Bank, and Lebanese commercial banks remains consistent and unaffected. 

"Following direct communication with concerned parties in the United Arab Emirates, I confirm that the banking relationship between the UAE, the Central Bank, and commercial banks in Lebanon remains unchanged and unaltered,” Mansouri affirmed in a statement.
