Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Friday warned against the ongoing corruption prevailing over the country, saying that it has eroded the basic rights of the Lebanese, pushed the economy into the abyss and the youth away from their loved ones.

“It's about time to hold the conscienceless perpetrators accountable for their crimes before the courts and in the upcoming elections,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.
