President Michel Aoun on Friday received a letter from his U.S. counterpart, President Joe Biden on Lebanon’s Independence Day, in which the latter stressed his country’s support to the Lebanese people, namely in light of the challenges the country is currently experiencing.

Biden also praised the historic partnership relations between the two countries, asserting the U.S. ongoing assistance for Lebanon.
