Greek Orthodox Archbishop Elias Audi on Wednesday met with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon, namely the investigation into the Beirut port blast.
“I have briefed the archbishop on the government’s upcoming steps and that we should be on the side of the Lebanese citizen, especially in terms of the living issues, and we talked about the repercussions of the Beirut port explosion,” Mikati said following the meeting.
“We have to resort to the proper Judiciary so as to find a solution regarding the Beirut blast,” he said.
