Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Thursday slammed Lebanese officials for their negligence in tackling people’s main problems and sufferings, calling them to either form a government or hold parliamentary elections.

“The country is drowning while people are living in hell because of your selfishness and failed bets,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.

“Does none of you have the slightest sense of feeling with the people?” he asked.
