New Measures to Be Imposed at the Beirut Airport to Curb Spread of Virus

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Saturday announced that starting Monday, new measures will be imposed at the Beirut Rafic Hariri International airport so as to curb the spread of coronavirus.

"In compliance with the decisions and recommendations aimed at limiting the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, it is strictly forbidden for persons to receive arriving passengers or to bid farewell for departing people," read a statement issued by the Directorate.

“Only passengers, officials bodies and airport staff are allowed to enter the arrival and departure halls,” it added.
