Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rahi on Sunday deemed the current elite as incompetent to rule the country, blaming it for obstructing the formation of a new government.

“The Lebanese people expected the formation of a new government, they are looking for their fate while officials seek only their interests,” he said during the Sunday Sermon in Bkerki.
