Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Monday stressed that today will always remain a victory to all the Lebanese’ struggle for over 30 years, voicing tribute to all those who have sacrificed their lives in the liberation battle.

“April 26, the day the Syrian army has withdrawn from the Lebanese territories, will remain a victory for the Lebanese’ struggle for over 30 years for Lebanon’s freedom and independence,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.

“A tribute to all those who have sacrificed their lives in the liberation battle in the ranks of the Lebanese resistance, the Lebanese army and the student movement,” he said.
