Resigned Kataeb lawmaker Elias Hankache on Monday accused the Lebanese officials of the deteriorating situation the country has reached today, calling all Parliament's lawmakers to resign.
“The Lebanese pound to US dollar exchange rate fell to LL13,500 and officials are doing nothing except observing the country while it is burning,” Hankache wrote on Twitter.
“You have burned our future, have mercy on the people and resign!” he said.
