Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Tuesday paid tribute to teachers on their day, expressing gratitude for their role in raising up generations.
“On this day, we thank all teachers in Lebanon, who are making huge sacrifices despite all the difficulties the country is currently experiencing so as our schools and universities would always provide the best education for our children,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.
“Greetings to all the teachers who are helping our students build new ideas for a new Lebanon, a Lebanon that resemble them,” he said.
