Gemayel Presents Kubis with Emergency Plan to Revive Economic Cycle

During the meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Saifi, Gemayel proposed a temporary emergency economic plan aimed at reviving the economic cycle through practical steps that would meet the market’s needs for liquidity, reduce the damage on the Lebanese and avert progression towards daily struggles.

The Kataeb chief stressed on the importance of designating a competent prime minister independent from the current political class, who is capable of forming a neutral small-scale government of specialists that would in turn hold early parliamentary elections.

The meeting was also attended by former Economy Minister Alain Hakim, Head of the Kataeb's Economic and Social Council Jean Tawile and the party's International Affairs Officer, Marwan Abdallah.
