Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel condemned on Sunday the attack that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut using two Israeli drones, slamming it as unacceptable and threatening.
“The incident which occurred Sunday morning in Beirut’s southern suburbs at Dahiyeh signifies an attack on Lebanon’s sovereignty. It is unacceptable and dangerous,” Gemayel wrote on Twitter.
“However, the government alone is delegated to take all the necessary diplomatic and defensive measures to protect Lebanon. Hopefully, the Lebanese government will wake up from its inertia to prevent a calamity,” he added.
