Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel on Thursday bid farewell to Patriarch Emeritus Nasrallah Sfeir, pledging unwavering steadfastness to the values that the latter had always defended.
Shortly before Cardinal Sfeir's funeral, Gemayel posted a picture of the late patriarch alongside the Kataeb martyrs Pierre Gemayel and Antoine Ghanem.
"Farewell your Beatitude! Our salutation to Pierre, Antoine and all our martyr comrades," Gemayel wrote in a caption.
"We shall stand firm to your principles," he pledged.
