Lebanon's General Security has announced plans to ease the return of Syrian nationals currently residing in Lebanon, following recent developments in Syria. According to information shared by LBCI, these measures will enable Syrians in Lebanon to return to their homeland through the Masnaa border crossing.
The Masnaa border crossing, a key gateway between Lebanon and Syria, is expected to serve as the main point of transit for these facilitated returns.
Lebanon, which has hosted a significant number of Syrian refugees since the outbreak of the Syrian conflict in 2011, has been exploring various measures to manage the presence of displaced individuals.
