Caretaker Minister of Justice, Henry Khoury, on Wednesday began a visit to Portugal at the invitation of the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe.
In Lisbon, Khoury met with his Portuguese counterpart Rita Alarcão Júdice at the Ministry of Justice.
During the meeting, Khoury briefed his host on the current situation in Lebanon, and the challenges the judicial body is facing due to the economic crisis and the massive number of displaced Syrians.
Khoury called the Portuguese Ministry of Justice to help Lebanon end the Syrian displacement crisis.
