Renewed Israeli strikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs on Monday, state media reported and AFPTV images showed, after an Israeli army evacuation warning and following heavy raids on the Hezbollah bastion the previous night.

Lebanon Security Official Says Israeli Strike Hits Beirut
A Lebanese official told AFP that an Israeli air strike hit central Beirut on Monday, as Israel prepared to decide whether to accept a proposed ceasefire in its war with Hezbollah.
“An Israeli strike hit the capital Beirut,” the official said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. The strikes come amid a flurry of Israeli evacuation calls for Hezbollah’s south Beirut bastion, already pounded by strikes in the morning.
