Lebanon Rejects Israeli Request to Stay in the South Until February 28
Sources informed LBCI that the committee responsible for monitoring the ceasefire agreement and enforcing UNSC Resolution 1701 has been notified that the Israeli military has asked to stay in specific positions in southern Lebanon until February 28, 2025.
The Lebanese side strongly rejected this request.
