U.S.-sponsored negotiations between Lebanon and Israel are expected to resume in Tampa, Florida, before Israel's elections, MTV Lebanon reported.

Lebanon has been informed that a new round of talks is likely to be held on October 20, according to the broadcaster.

Ambassador Simon Karam is expected to head the Lebanese delegation, with Ambassador Nada Hamadeh Mouawad also attending the talks, the report said.
