Lebanese Army Reaffirms Deployment in South Litani Amid Israeli Violations

The Lebanese Army Command announced that the army is continuing its deployment in the South Litani region in coordination with the Quintet Committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism), despite ongoing Israeli violations, including gunfire aimed at the army and civilians during the deployment, as well as two recent airstrikes on the Nabatieh area.

The statement confirmed that the army is continuing to assist citizens in border towns and is actively working to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701, alongside carrying out necessary field operations at several locations in the South Litani area.

The Army Command called on citizens to adhere to the instructions issued in its official statements and follow the guidance provided by the deployed military units.
