Khamenei: Future of Region to Be Shaped by Resistance Forces

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei asserted that Israel is incapable of delivering "meaningful harm" to Hezbollah, emphasizing that all resistance factions in the region stand united in their support for the militant group.

This declaration comes in the wake of Israel's announcement regarding the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

In his statement, Khamenei maintained that the ongoing conflicts in Lebanon and Gaza would not "weaken or bring down the strong structure of the resistance movement." He proclaimed that the future of the region would be shaped by the resistance forces, with Hezbollah at the forefront.

NBC News quoted Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Iran's deputy for international affairs, as saying that the country plans to initiate registration for deploying forces to Lebanon shortly.

"With public registration, officials will certainly grant permission for the deployment of forces to Lebanon and the Golan Heights," Akhtari added. "We can send forces to Lebanon to fight against Israel, just as we did in the year 1981."
