Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel met at his office in Bikfaya with National Liberal Party Head Camille Chamoun with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

Following the meeting, Chamoun stated: "This visit to Bikfaya comes as Liberals and as a Sovereign Front to emphasize the importance of unity, which instills confidence in all of Lebanon, not just within the Christian community, because unity is the foundation of success."

He noted that, amid the ongoing war and the existence of parties making unilateral decisions, greater coordination is essential to confront the significant problems the Lebanese people are facing.

"Our hand is extended to every free national to cooperate and remain united in serving this country," he said.

The meeting was attended by Kataeb Political Bureau Member Lina Jalekh and Kataeb Leader’s Advisor, Abdallah Nassar.

On the National Liberal Party side, the meeting was attended by the party’s Interior Secretary, Camille Joseph Chamoun, and Mansourieh area leader, Camille Al-Hajj.
