Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel met with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Yasser Alawi at the party's Headquarters in Saifi with talks featuring high on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, namely the Lebanese presidential elections.

Gemayel emphasized his rejection over Hezbollah's will and dragging Lebanon into a phase of collapse that will last for six additional years, stressing that the upcoming president must be sovereign, reformist, and accepted by everyone.

The meeting was attended by Lawmaker Selim Sayegh and the party’s International Secretary Marwan Abdallah.
