During Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah speech, Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude over Beirut and its suburbs, causing a "very loud sound" that echoed across the Lebanese capital.

 

According to Reuters, the sound may have been caused by sonic booms, as the jets accelerated faster than the speed of sound.
