Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich revealed that the war should only end when neither Hamas nor Hezbollah exist.

The Israeli minister stated: "There will be a war on the northern front, and it will come at a cost. It will be complex, but there is no other choice."

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir emphasized that he would "do everything possible to continue the war and recover the hostages through military pressure that will defeat Hamas," according to Russia Today.

In a post on the "X" platform, he wrote: "Yesterday, I visited the family of Ori Danino, who was kidnapped and killed by Hamas terrorists. I heard from them about Ori’s kindness and his great spirit, and I embraced his kind father and brothers. I listened attentively to his mother, who urged us to continue the struggle to increase military pressure on Gaza and oppose the entry of humanitarian aid and fuel into the region."

"I assured her and the rest of the family that my door will always be open to them, and that I will do everything in my power to keep the war going. I will continue to fight for the return of our remaining hostages through military pressure that will defeat Hamas," he added.
