Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, during a visit to the northern border, announced that Hezbollah is collapsing along the front lines amid escalating tensions between the militant group and Israel.

Gallant’s remarks came as he addressed soldiers from the Israeli army's elite 98th division, commending their efforts in halting Hezbollah's advance.

"In all the places that Hezbollah prepared to invade Israel, Israeli soldiers now stand," Gallant said, emphasizing the strength and preparedness of Israeli forces. "The terrorists are unable to confront us," he added, underscoring the tactical advantage Israeli troops have gained.

Gallant revealed that Israeli forces have captured Hezbollah fighters who, under interrogation, disclosed critical details about the situation on the ground.

"We have Hezbollah prisoners, and they are telling us what's happening — they are in a state of extreme fear," he said, portraying a picture of disarray within Hezbollah's ranks.

"We have pledged to return the northern residents to their homes safely, and that is what we are doing."

"We are now moving from the phase of defeating Hezbollah to its destruction," Gallant declared, signaling a shift in Israel's military objectives and a potential intensification of the conflict.
