Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on 'X' platform that his country's military "targeted more than 15 rocket launchers and a military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, in addition to several launchers that were ready for immediate firing towards Israeli territory."

Adraee claimed that "after targeting the launchers [...] several shells were observed being launched from the platforms and falling within Lebanese territory."
