Israeli Airstrikes Hit Southern Lebanon as Hezbollah Launches Counterattacks

Israeli warplanes targeted multiple locations in southern Lebanon, including a house in the town of Al-Dahira and the village of Kfarkela, local media reported on Friday.

Additionally, the area between Tel Nahas and Al-Hamamis, towards the Marjayoun plain, has been subjected to phosphorus bomb attacks.

Earlier, Israeli forces conducted a strike on the town of Aytaroun, further heightening the tension in the region. Flares were also deployed over border villages adjacent to the Blue Line as Israeli forces unleashed heavy machine gun fire towards the mountains of Al-Labbouneh and Al-Alam in the western sector at dawn.

The aerial bombardment was accompanied by continuous reconnaissance and drone surveillance throughout the night and into the morning, covering villages in both the western and central sectors and extending as far as the outskirts of Tyre.

In response to these Israeli actions, Hezbollah issued a statement announcing it had targeted the Ma'ayan Baruch site with an airstrike.

The group also reported that it had struck buildings used by the Israeli military in  the Metulla settlement, the Zibdine barracks, and the Rweiset Al-Qarn site.
