Israeli Drone Strike Targets Hezbollah Operatives in Southern Lebanon

An Israeli airstrike struck a van in the town of Yohmor in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon on Monday.

The Israeli army and Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the drone strike, saying it targeted Hezbollah operatives allegedly involved in hostile activities against Israel.

According to the Israeli military, the strike targeted two Hezbollah members who were conducting surveillance operations and facilitating "terror activity" in the Yohmor area.

Following the strike, Katz issued a statement emphasizing Israel's firm stance against Hezbollah's actions.

“The Israeli army just now struck Hezbollah terrorists in the Yohmor area, after they engaged in terror activities against Israel,” Katz said.

He reiterated Israel's "zero tolerance" policy towards any violations of the ceasefire.

“We will not allow any violation of the agreement and we will not allow the Hezbollah terror organization to restore its capabilities,” Katz declared, adding that “any terrorist who tries to harm Israeli civilians is a dead man.”
