Iran and Lebanon Hold Talks to Resolve Flight Suspension Dispute

Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held constructive discussions with his Lebanese counterpart regarding the ongoing dispute over flight operations between the two nations.

The ministry underscored the significance of maintaining and advancing bilateral cooperation in this sector, emphasizing that no third party should be allowed to interfere in the relations between Iran and Lebanon.

The talks come after an announcement on Sunday by Iran's official news agency, which cited the head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, Hossein Pourfarzaneh, revealing that Lebanese aviation authorities had informed Tehran of the suspension of Iranian flights to Beirut until Tuesday, February 18.
