Haroun Says People Will Die at their Homes, Calls for Securing Cash for Hospitals

Private hospitals' Syndicate Head Sleiman Haroun said on Monday that he had previously warned that people would not die at the doors of hospitals but rather in their homes as hospitals are unable to provide medicines and medical supplies, calling for securing cash for hospitals.

“Hospitals are unable to purchase their needs, the solution lies in banks providing liquidity to hospitals. Citizens are suffering and paying the price,” Haroun said in an interview with LBCI.

“The hospital has no ability to provide patients with the necessary treatments at all times,” he noted.
