Kataeb Lawmaker Elias Hankach stressed on Wednesday the importance of voting for a certain candidate at the Parliament.

“In 11 votes, one party voted for the candidate while the other party casted blank votes in the first round and did not secure the quorum in the second round”, Hankach said in an interview with LBCI.

"A good leader is brave enough to tackle issues encountered by the nation, such as Hezbollah's illegal weapons, defense tactics, economic issues, the displacement of Syrians and Palestinian weapons," he pointed out.

"What is the reason for Hezbollah's illegal weapons presence? We must decide. Either we treat Hezbollah as a Lebanese group or it is supported and financed by Iran and take orders from it" he concluded.
