Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, stated that the transport sector plays a central role in strengthening Lebanon's position on international transport routes.

He also welcomed Iraq's decision to allow Lebanese trucks carrying goods to pass through its territory in transit to other countries.
