Hamieh Says News of Imposing New Fees on Travelers Completely False
Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, denied today via Twitter the news circulated by some social media sites regarding certain additional fees imposed on travelers through Beirut airport, deeming it as completely false.
He added that none of the departing passengers have paid any new fees from the date of the decree’s entry into force on Thursday, August 11, 2022, which proves that such news is totally groundless.
