Member of the Kataeb Party's Political Bureau, Alain Hakim, expressed his strong support for General Joseph Aoun following his election as Lebanon’s new president, praising the roadmap laid out by the latter in his inaugural speech.

Hakim emphasized that General Aoun’s speech highlighted the qualities Lebanon needs in its president during these challenging times, addressing key areas such as the economy, the judiciary, environmental issues, security, and administrative reforms.

"Based on his inaugural speech, it is clear that the Army Commander is truly the president Lebanon needs at this stage—economically, judicially, environmentally, in terms of security, and administratively," Hakim wrote on X.

The former minister also addressed those who may have had doubts about Aoun's eligibility for the presidency, noting that the new president’s words prove his suitability for the role.

Hakim concluded his message by wishing President Joseph Aoun the best of luck in his presidency, highlighting his crucial role in Lebanon’s journey toward recovery and revitalization.

"Wishing President General Joseph Aoun all the best in his journey toward saving the nation," Hakim wrote, emphasizing the significance of Aoun's leadership for Lebanon's future.
