Aoun Orders UN Complaint Over Israeli Wall Crossing Blue Line
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has instructed the foreign ministry to file an urgent complaint, through Lebanon’s permanent mission to the United Nations, against Israel for constructing a concrete wall inside Lebanese territory that crosses the so-called “Blue Line,” the de facto border between the two countries.

Guterres to Mikati: Continued United Nations Support for the Lebanese People
Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, met with United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres with talks featuring high on the Lebanese situation.
For his part, the UN Secretary-General emphasized the continued commitment of the United Nations to support the Lebanese people.
Guterres and Mikati also discussed the contribution of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in maintaining stability.
Moreover, the UN Secretary General seized the occasion to express appreciation for Lebanon’s generosity in hosting refugees, while underscoring efforts to find durable solutions for their safe and dignified return to their homeland.
