French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo noted the signing of the two exploration and production agreements constitute a new important stage.

"Four months after the completion of the maritime border demarcation agreement, with American auspices and active French assistance, the signing of the two exploration and production agreements with QatarEnergy to join the TotalEnergies and ENI, especially in the exploration spot in Block 9, constitute a new important stage," Grillo tweeted.
