There's Only So Much Lebanon's Army Can Do Against Hezbollah
On March 2, Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel – though the decision for it to do so was almost certainly made by Iran – carrying Lebanon into a new war with Israeli forces. On the same day, Lebanon's government declared Hezbollah's military and security activities illegal. Shortly thereafter, army commander General Rodolphe Haykal made it clear to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam that the military did not have the means to implement the government's decision. Now, the Lebanese army finds itself in an uncomfortable position.

Gemayel Receives Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon
Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel received on Tuesday Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon Tarcisio de Lima Ferreira Fernandes Costa who paid him an acquaintance visit.
Talks focused on the latest developments in the country and the region as well as the ties between Lebanon and Brazil.
The meeting was attended by the party’s Foreign Affairs Head Dr. Michel Abi Abdallah, the party's International Secretary Marwan Abdallah as well as Lawyer Imad Khoury.
