Gemayel Meets UN Official to Discuss Lebanon’s Security and Humanitarian Challenges

Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel met with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, at the party’s headquarters in Saifi on Thursday to discuss the country’s security situation during a particularly critical period.

During the discussions, both sides stressed the urgent need to support residents of southern Lebanon, including both those displaced and those who have chosen to remain in their villages, and emphasized the importance of protecting these communities from potential attacks.

The meeting also highlighted the role of the United Nations and the wider international community in providing essential humanitarian assistance to those affected.
