Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel and Lawmaker Elias Hankach commemorated on Monday late MP Gebran Tueni as Lebanon marked his 17th assassination anniversary, each sharing a picture of Tueini with a caption.
“On the anniversary of the assassination of our beloved friend Gebran Tueni, we recall the parliamentary list of honor that he placed on the front page of Annahar newspaper in 1998. It is a timeless message that all the nation’s representatives should take into consideration in a bid to always act based on their national conscience,” Gemayel tweeted.
For his part, Hankach said that “Great Lebanon’ had not been achieved yet.
“We promise that we would keep on fighting until we achieve it,” he noted.
