Gemayel From Washington: To Keep Pace With Lebanon, Spare it from a Devastating War

On his first day in the U.S capital, Washington D.C, Kataeb Leader Samy Gemayel met with Senator Charles Grassley.

Gemayel emphasized the importance of keeping pace with Lebanon amid the challenging circumstances in the region, stressing the necessity of sparing the country from a devastating war.

He also underscored the imperative of implementing international resolutions and providing assistance to Lebanon in reclaiming sovereignty over its entire territory.

The Kataeb Leader then participated in the opening of the International Conference of the International Democratic Union (IDU) held in Washington D.C.

Gemayel also participated in a meeting with the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.

During the meeting, he addressed the situation in Lebanon and emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination in these challenging circumstances, highlighting the significance of this matter for the Middle East region in general and the Lebanese cause in particular.

Gemayel was accompanied by Kataeb Political Bureau Members Joelle Bou Abboud and Ibrahim Marji, Head of Kataeb Foreign Affairs Department Marwan Abdallah as well as Kataeb Representative in Washington D.C. Zahi Abi Younes.
