Gantz Says War Would Be Tragic to Lebanon If Hezbollah Attacks Karish
Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday said that an attack carried out by Hezbollah on Israel’s gas rigs could lead to a military reaction.
"It could lead to several days of war," Gantz threatened in an interview.
He said that in the future there would be two rigs, one on Israel's side and the other on Lebanon's side.
"I hope we will not have to go to war before this," he said, adding that war would be a tragedy to Lebanon.
